All patients and staff MUST follow our new COVID guidelines in order to receive care at Auburn Westboro Eye Assc.

Starting June 1 2021

All Patients must wear a mask in the office. If you do not have a mask we will provide you with one.

When you enter the office you will be asked questions regarding your exposure to Covid-19. Depending on the answers you may be asked to reschedule your appointment to a later date.

If you are Vaccinated you still must wear a mask, but the screening process will be quicker. Please let us know if you have been vaccinated.

Everyone entering the office must use hand sanitizer. There will be hand washing stations labeled all around the office.

We are not accepting Walk In Appointments at this time.

The Optical:

We will try to accommodate all patients in the optical, but it is recommended to make an appointment with the opticians to pick out glasses. Until further notice we are trying to only have 4 patients/family members in the optical at one time. If you know you want to get new glasses at the time of your eye exam appointment, please set up an appointment with the opticians.

Dispensing, adjusting, and repairing glasses are all via appointment.

All glasses tried on need to be put aside and sterilized. Masks must be worn at all time.

· Please stay 6 feet away from other patients and staff members when possible.

All surfaces will be disinfected between patient care with disinfectant.

· If you have been diagnosed with COVID-19 you must wait for 4 weeks from the day of diagnosis to enter our building, or have two negative COVID-19 test results.

If you have the following symptoms please reschedule your appointment:

  • Cough, new loss of taste or smell, sore throat, fever, chills, muscle ache or shortness of breath.
  • Other Less common symptoms include; nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, and unexplained skin or toe rash

We appreciate your commitment to our office during these times and understand some of these new guidelines make our time together more complicated, but it is important to stay safe during this pandemic. We look forward to hearing and seeing from you soon.

Sincerely, Drs. Jeff, Mike Cohn, Suzanne Lucash, Rebecca McLaughlin, Brenda Komari and all of us at Auburn Westboro Eye Assc.
